Antjuane is a foreman at the Washington Navy Yard, an administrative center for the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C. He oversees custodial operations of 20 buildings, which helps support Naval operations. “The work can be a challenge!” he said of the custodial work performed by Melwood Enterprises at the site.
He started with Melwood in 2009 as a custodian in the AbilityOne program and his hard work, skill and drive quickly earned him promotions and new responsibilities. He took the boost he got from Melwood and has used it to mentor those who now work under him. Always willing to step in and do the hard work, Antjuane is always moving, always volunteering for the job, always mentoring, and always learning.
As someone who has performed his job for 15 years and is constantly getting promotions and new assignments, Antjuane shows what Melwood Enterprises’ custodial services have to offer.
