How it works

From the moment new employees with qualifying disabilities start the interview and job selection process, Melwood’s team of VSPs deliver high-quality, customized support. Acting as a valuable link to essential resources, Melwood’s vocational support team offers friendly and professional job-retention services.

Individuals with qualifying disabilities hired by Melwood Enterprises are assigned a Vocational Support Professional during the interview process. VSPs support employees throughout their time at Melwood, offering a wide range of support and facilitating solutions to workplace challenges.

Ongoing support

All qualifying employees receive an Individualized Employment Evaluation for success

Vocational support professionals are trusted partners who can discuss challenges, independent of supervisors and human resources. They meet regularly with qualifying employees, ensuring growth and success
